Tarcutta and Adelong Anglican Churches

Situated in the South West Slopes of New South Wales Australia

About Us

Our Church is traditional Anglican, yet at the same time we are open to different expressions of our faith and worship.

We value our signs and symbols, love contemporary and traditional music, and open to the Lord's Holy Spirit to lead us in our Spiritual Gifts.

We are a "partnership" of the two Parishes of Adelong and Tarcutta. There are five church Centres in all, being Tarcutta, Westbrook, Mundarlo, Adelong and Tumblong.

Our Churches are a part of the large district or "Diocese" of Canberra and Goulburn.

The address of our Tarcutta Church is Gresham Street Tarcutta NSW 2652

The address of our Adelong Church is 30 Neill Street Adelong NSW 2729

What we Believe is stated in this Apostles Creed -

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the the Holy Spirit
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
from there he will come to judge

the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of the saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

A Current Prayer

A Prayer During This Virus

Lord Jesus Christ, healer and friend,

come and care for all of us

through the danger and uncertainty

of the corona virus epidemic.

To people who are sick, bring healing.

To people who are displaced, isolated,

or cut off from family, friends or work,

bring comfort and companionship.

Work with medical staff as they care for

the sick, and protect them from harm.

Give skill and fruitful research to scientists

as they work on treatments and a vaccine.

To Government leaders and public health

authorities, give wisdom to decide the best

ways to manage this crisis.

When communities are fearful, and when

they panic in the supermarket, give a calm

spirit. Give peace to those who have closed

a business, and peace to the unemployed.

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who

sin against us. In your mercy heal our land,

as we seek your face, and turn from our

wicked ways.

Lord Jesus, destroy this virus which is evil,

exercise your power over the devil,

destroy the demons of sickness and death,

that we may once again live in health,

wholeness, harmony and peace.

Through this testing time, and through all the

risks we face together, teach us once again

how we can love one another as you have

loved us; exercising our Spiritual Gifts and

open to your Fruit.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for our faith, hope

and love.
